For seven years, Princess Alana waits for her fiancé Wilton, unaware he has been rigging her Fate Feathers to delay their marriage for another woman. On her eighth Claiming Day, she draws a red feather—and is claimed by Cillian, Draveth’s most powerful black-winged lord. Wilton begs to win her back, but it is already too late.
