My neighbor's family of five stole my $100,000 RV at 2 a.m. and hit the interstate. Then she called to laugh: "You're alone. Just book a hotel." I'd said no to sharing. They took it anyway. Fine. I hung up and dialed 911. Everyone said settle—take the money, let it go. But I had security footage, phone recordings, and zero intention of backing down. They called it "borrowing." They laughed. They had no idea who they'd messed with. Or what it was going to cost them.
