Jiang Chen, master of both medicine and martial arts, is sent down the mountain by his master. He marries into the Su family via an ancestral marriage contract, wedding Su Qingxue, the legitimate daughter plagued by icy poison and ostracized by her clan. Outwardly a humble delivery-man son-in-law, he is the true heir of the Kunlun Divine Pavilion. With Nine-Yang Skill and peerless medical skills, he humiliates unkind relatives, beats off arrogant young masters, cures Su Qingxue’s fatal illness and helps her retake Su Group. He thwarts plots from the provincial Wang clan, Tiannan Martial Arts Association and the Yinsha Sect, uncovers his own origin, and finally marries Su Qingxue. He opens a clinic to heal the sick and guards the peace of Jiangcheng.
