My dad gave my room to my stepsister, and my childhood sweetheart secretly broke our pact to stay with her instead. Everyone assumed I was "strong enough" to handle the heartbreak and yield in silence. They were wrong. When they finally realized I had vanished into thin air, sheer panic set in. But my real life was just beginning.
