Temp Lin Wan of Hongqi Shipyard is a master welder. For five years, her allowances are stolen and her permanent job spot seized. She quietly collects proof and exposes workshop chief Zhang Weidong and his nephew’s graft at the year-end meeting. She brings the city’s shipowners over to Dongfeng Shipyard. When her old employer smears her and launches a business blockade, she uses her welding expertise and the law to defeat their attacks. The villains are brought to justice. Lin Wan rises to branch plant technical supervisor, winning a thriving career and true love.
