Su Cheng, an administrative clerk with five years of in-depth experience in industrial German translation, has her translation allowances suspended under the suppression of newly appointed director Liang Kai. She chooses to follow the rules and keep a low profile. Yet when German experts come to inspect the production line, she is tasked with the emergency mission and turns the tide with her professional expertise. Faced with frame-ups and workplace oppression, she calmly proves her innocence and uncovers evidence of Liang Kai’s corruption. In the end, she turns down the group’s executive promotion, resigns to launch her own translation studio and grows into a top-tier service provider in the industry.
