Lin Shen has taken care of Su Man, who was seriously ill and in a coma, for many years. He replaced Su Man's heart with an artificial one and managed to save her life. However, after waking up, due to misunderstandings about Lin Shen, Su Man hurt him deeply on several occasions. Heartbroken, Lin Shen made up his mind to leave Su Man completely. Gradually, Su Man began to realize Lin Shen's kindness. When she tried to win him back with her love, she finally discovered that some people, once missed, are gone forever.
