Liuguang and her husband have carefully nurtured their daughter, Sang Ning, to become the most likely phoenix in the phoenix clan to reach nirvana, while Chou Nu, who is the same age as Sang Ning, has grown up in an abusive manner. At the selection ceremony of the Phoenix Clan, it is revealed that Sang Ning and Chou Nu were once switched, but Liuguang readily agrees to switch back to her daughter and admits that she knew about it a long time ago. When everyone wonders why she is so heartless and desperate, Liuguang reveals an even bigger secret hidden in the aftermath of this incident.
