After the real daughter Xu Mingzhu is taken home, her once doting parents and elder brother blindly believe Xu Mingzhu’s lies.Wrongfully accused of pushing their grandmother down the stairs and leaving her comatose, Xu Qi is sent by the family to a women’s moral reformation school to repent. There she endures three years of cruel inhumane abuse, left with permanent lifelong disabilities. When she returns home three years later, her family finds the once bright, cheerful and smiling Xu Qi has turned cold, distant and closed off from everyone.
