Set in a small Western town of the 1960s, kind and resilient waitress Evelyn Hart falls pregnant with Colton Sterling, heir to a ranch, after a one-night affair. However, her stepsister steals her credit for saving Colton and frames her for a crime, sending Evelyn to prison unjustly. She gives birth to their son Ethan alone behind bars. Six years later, a paternity test exposes the truth. Learning of the terrible misunderstanding from years ago, Colton chases Evelyn relentlessly to atone for his mistakes. He fiercely defends her and defeats the villainous stepsister, and the three finally live happily as a complete family.
