Prodigy Su Yue endures long-term emotional abuse and domestic violence from her mother Lin Wanru under crushing parenting. During the Tsinghua and Peking University independent recruitment exam, her mother forces her to drink milk, making her submit the paper early. Even so, she scores full marks and becomes the top candidate. At the parent-teacher meeting, her mother humiliates her publicly, driving her to attempt suicide by jumping. Saved in time, Su Yue decides to sever ties and sue her mother. With assistance from a legal team from Tsinghua and Peking University, she wins the lawsuit. Later, her mother receives psychotherapy, while her father goes to prison. Su Yue heads to Tsinghua and Peking University together with Lu Chenguang.
