Forced to pick a scrawny colt to escape the mockery, Willa ends up marrying Ellis, a sickly outcast who secretly loved her for years. Given a second chance at life, Willa ignores Colt's manipulative test and deliberately chooses Ellis again. As Colt realizes he’s lost her forever, he scrambles to win her back.
