Ella, the female commander of the North, learns that her twin sister Cecilia was tortured to death by Crown Prince Cassius. She sneaks into the palace under her sister’s identity to exact revenge. She reorganizes the court with ruthless measures, whips Cassius, exposes the adultery of his mistress Isabelle, and forms an alliance with Duke Raymond. After her stand-in Lilith helps her resolve the identity crisis, Ella reveals Cassius’ plot to kill his mother for the throne. She finally becomes queen and guards the royal bloodline and the kingdom’s future.
