Gu Ruo'an was attacked late at night and suffered from amnesia, forgetting all the past of her three-year marriage to Shen Huaiyuan. After waking up, she found that she had been neglected and treated coldly throughout the marriage—Shen Huaiyuan even humiliated her to the utmost, believing the false accusations made by his first love, Su Yaoqing. Although her mother-in-law had always favored her, Shen Huaiyuan's actions left her completely disheartened. In the end, Gu Ruo'an decided to file for divorce, leave the Shen family, and start her life anew.
