Overwhelmed by despair, Li Yunjiao agreed to take her sister's place and marry Lu Zheng, who was in a vegetative state. In reality, Lu Zheng had already woken up and had been quietly guarding Li Yunjiao all along. Huo Siye eventually realized he had mistaken the person who saved him in the past, and was consumed with overwhelming regret. The three became entangled in a web of love, hatred, and hidden truths. In the end, Li Yunjiao let go of her past, chose to cherish the person in front of her, and spent the rest of her life hand in hand with Lu Zheng.
