Three years after their breakup, Wren runs into her hockey ex, Weston, who still believes she betrayed him. In truth, she secretly gave him a kidney and let him hate her rather than refuse it. When her own kidney fails, the truth comes out. Weston rushes to her side, and after her successful surgery, he finally understands her sacrifice. He proposes on the ice, and she says yes—proving that love can survive even the deepest lies and the hardest choices.
