Claire, once her family's most gifted superhuman, is diagnosed with power instability and locked in a cruel recovery facility for a year. She endures agonizing treatments, believing she is sick. On the eve of the academy banquet, she overhears a devastating secret: her "illness" was a lie. Her family and boyfriend secretly drugged her to suppress her powers, ensuring her sister received the coveted academy spot instead. Utterly broken by their betrayal, Claire makes a fatal choice. Will her family realize their horrific mistake before it’s too late, or will their regret haunt them forever?
