Lin Fei returns home to revitalize his village and undertakes the local cold storage project. However, the rogue Wu De slanders and exploits him, forcing him to quit. Wu De takes over the project cheaply, cuts corners and steals materials. The shoddy cold storage spoils all villagers’ crops and destroys their year-long harvest. He then conspires with crooked merchants to defraud villagers with rigged scales.Teaming up with Zhou Xiaoyu, Lin Fei collects evidence, exposes the scam and subdues the violent Wu De and his accomplices. He sells his property to rebuild a qualified cold storage, builds sales channels and a village cooperative to lead locals to wealth, while gaining sincere love.
