Julian, former FA national football captain, was disabled by his coach’s abuse. Sunk in crippling depression and suicidal thoughts, he was rescued by upbeat, talkative Leanna. His mother Mary adopted Leanna, hoping she could heal her son. Leanna warmed Julian’s heart with her optimism. Together they fought bullying, uncovered the truth of his suffering and brought the abusive coach to justice.Julian kept up tough rehabilitation in secret. He returned to international football as a substitute. Inspired by Leanna, he scored the winning goal, claimed the championship and exposed his rivals’ drugging scheme.Having reached new heights, he danced with Leanna at a charity ball and gifted her a bluebell bracelet on her birthday. The three built a warm, healing‑bonded family.
