When a deadly Giant attacks Camelot, poor shepherd William secretly uses forbidden magic to save the kingdom after its greatest knights fail. Mocked and humiliated by the wealthy Lord Mordred, William enters a royal competition to prove that a commoner can be just as powerful as a noble. But when Excalibur transforms into William’s shepherd’s staff, he discovers the truth everyone has hidden from him: he is the lost son of the legendary wizard Merlin.
