Three years ago, Professor Elias took in a homeless boy, Arthur. Three years later, Arthur has grown into a young man whose secret crush on his professor has become an obsessive pursuit, dragging Elias into a forbidden affair. Rejection, a vengeful fiancée, and university pressure push them to the brink. To save Arthur's future, Elias takes all the blame, resigns, and flees to the Atlantic coast. But Arthur follows him in the most extreme way.
