Elias Voss, vice president of the Mila Consortium, discovers his wife Mila’s affair with her childhood friend Owen. Driven by Mila’s obsession and Owen’s conspiracy, Elias’s mother Elara is poisoned to death. With the help of his childhood friend Emilia Ward, Elias fakes his death and escapes. He secretly gathers evidence and manipulates the situation to make Mila and Owen turn against each other. Mila receives a life sentence and commits suicide in prison. Starting from nothing, Elias builds a new industrial empire and finally finds true love with Emilia.
