Evelyn, a fast-food waitress, falls at first sight for mob boss Howard. To save her mother, she is forced into a one-year contract marriage. Dominant and powerful, Howard gradually falls for her and solves all her troubles. From resistance to affection, Evelyn discovers his gentle side beneath his cold exterior and uncovers the truth — he was her savior five years ago. After surviving kidnappings, deadly gambles, gunfights and countless life-or-death trials, this marriage born from a deal finally turns into an unforgettable, deep love.
