Former national top translator Gu Weiguo gave up his career to care for his son. After five years as an unpaid family caregiver, he is driven out at fifty. He starts delivering takeouts, then astonishes everyone in international negotiations with fluency in eight languages. He spots foreign corporate traps and cuts the quotation to 20 million, making his reputation overnight.Faced with his son’s family’s remorse and pestering, he cuts ties to launch his business. He later receives a Lifetime Achievement Award at an international ceremony, and finally reaches genuine reconciliation with his matured son.
